Quail Creek Microchip Database

As a service to all pets in Quail Creek, the Critters Club has opened our pet microchip database to all residents. Microchipped pets are much easier to identify at a local level. There are 15 or more microchip registration organizations. Even if you have scanned the number, it is not easy to find which internet database contains that particular number. Also many people have changed their phone or address or both without making the changes to whichever database contains their information. Many people do not know how to make the changes even if they know they should submit the changes.

Most of the lost or found pet calls we get are in the evening or on weekends. Vets or animal shelters are typically not open at that time and that can greatly delay identification by scanning for a microchip. The Critters Club has purchased a universal microchip scanner. This device is able to read all the various types of pet microchips.

By including your pet in our database, identification is quick and easy. It does not make any difference whether the national database is current or not. Your pet's microchip ChipID is associated with both your pet and with you. This keeps the pet in Quail Creek for identification and that is a very good thing for your pet.

Please include your microchipped pet in our database by sending pet name, your name, your phone, and pet chipID number to: crittersclub@gmail.com. There is no charge for this service.

You are not a member of the Critters Club but you are a caring pet parent. If you want to get a full Pet Identification and Recovery Form for your pet you must be a member. This form includes your pets weight, height, sex, breed, color and a picture. Our Membership & Identification form can be found on our home page. Membership is only $10 per year.

If you want to be included in our mail list that announces Club events, lost and found pets, etc., please send your email address to crittersclub@gmail.com Thank you for caring for your pet.
